To be able to utilise this opportunity and become a professional hunter you need to require a PH licence. The prerequisite for acquiring a PH license is to attend a professional hunting school or course which commences over a period of 10 days. In which you have to complete the Practical and theoretical exams in order to qualify to apply for you professional hunters license at the department of nature conservation.

There are many Ph - course presenters and it is your own responsibility to ensure that the school you attend has a good reputation and standards.

Professional hunting licenses is province specific and you need to have a licence for each province you would like to guide international clients in. You do not need to do the whole course over in each province, you only have to write the legal exam for that particular province.
